DALTON, GA - LOWES LEGENDS scored the SPA 50 HAT TRICK in 2019.
The OHIO team won the COLUMBUS, OHIO HEART OF OHIO tournament for the first crown, defeated two other regional champs in pool play (KENT'S PLAYERS 24-9. TEXAS ACES 22-17) at the DALTON WORLDS FOR THE SECOND and wrapped IT up by winning the 2019 SPA 50 WORLD CROWN at DALTON Sept 4-8.
In the SPA 50 WORLDS, LOWES after winning their first two bracket games (GRILL 584 25-9, BRICKYARD SOFTBALL 15-14) were ambushed 28-16 by KENT'S PLAYERS.
LOWES retaliated beating KENT'S 21-16 to force the "IF" game and taking the title with a 28-16 win.
KENT'S reached the finals with wins over ACTION SPORTS 19-11,DIVERSIFIED MACHINE 18-17 and KC VINTAGE 20-13 before the three-game showdown with LOWES
Others in the 14-team field not previously mentioned were DAYTON LEGENDS, MIAMI VALLEY SRS, FLYTIME SOFTBALL, CINCY 50, LAKESHORE CONTRACTING and GA RENEGADES.
